 An additional presence detector The presence detector is a feature that is installed in addition to the fully flat cassette FFA-A9. When the airflow control is on, the presence detector directs the air flow away from any person detected by the occupancy sensor. When the room is empty, it is possible to automatically adjust the set temperature by 2, 3 or 4º C, or to turn off the cassette in order to reduce energy consumption. The direction of the air flow is adjusted according to the registered human presence, thus preventing cold drafts directed towards the people in the room. The smart presence detector could reduce running costs by up to 27% and significantly increase the energy efficiency of your air conditioner. |

An additional floor sensor Since warm air is lighter and rises, floor temperature is always lower than that one near the ceiling and the difference could be more than 10° C. In order to achieve rational use of energy and optimal comfort in the room, Daikin has developed an additional floor sensor, which takes into account the temperature difference and redirects the air flow to ensure an even temperature distribution and prevent the feeling of cold feet. The built-in infrared floor sensor is an innovative mechanism, thanks to which you will increase energy efficiency significantly, reduce the running costs and have the opportunity to control the overall atmosphere in the room.  |

Air flow direction Cassette air conditioner FFA-A9 has an individual control on the vents, which facilitates the regulation of one or more vents by means of a wired remote control. The four vents of flat cassette FFA-A9 can be controlled separately with an optional kit that provides optimal airflow comfort even when mounted near the corners or walls. As a result, you achieve optimal air flow, which you can change to your liking at any time.  |
